Leadership
Training is for any leader at Messiah (Discipleship Mentors, Connect Group
Leaders, Short Term Group Leaders or Ministry Leaders). This is a time to come
together as a community and learn from Jesus and each other. Jesus had a small
group of students (disciples) that he trained so that someday they each would
become disciple-makers - have their own disciples.
The purpose of our
leadership training is for the leaders to multiply disciples and lead others in
ministry, and to that end, we meet each month to pray, share a meal, meet in accountability
groups and study the Word of God.
All leaders have been through the Discipleship Process.
