Pastor Dan has been playing basketball since he was 7 years old. But it wasn’t until a Jr. high coach told him he was fast and taught him how to shoot, that he realized he could make a career of playing basketball. Pastor Dan played through high school, led his team to a state championship and then received a full basketball scholarship to college. He played semi -professional ball with the Birmingham Stars. Pastor Dan seeks to pass on solid fundamentals and a love for the game to the next generation as he has coached and run camps for the past forty years. Recently, he has been named to Maine’s Senor Olympic Team and he held the National Basketball Hall of Fame scoring record for the most points scored in a high school basketball game with 71 points.  If your child is in need of good focus on the fundamentals and fun of the game from a man who has played and coached many, many kids, this is the camp for your kids.
